About Mr. Owais Ali Bhat - Journey Of Perseverance
Owais Ali Bhat, a proud son of Summerbugh Lasjan, Srinagar, is a passionate educationist and a committed social reformer, whose journey is a testament to vision, perseverance, and service. An alumnus of Jamia Millia Islamia, where he completed his MBA after graduating in Economics, Mr. Bhat has dedicated the last decade of his life to shaping the future of thousands of young minds in Jammu and Kashmir.
Creating Success
In 2015, driven by a mission to transform civil services preparation in the region, he took the bold step of partnering with Chanakya IAS Academy Delhi to establish its presence in Jammu & Kashmir. As the Director of Chanakya IAS Academy J&K, he has nurtured a legacy of excellence, mentoring over 500 JKAS qualifiers and more than 50 successful UPSC candidates, many of whom are now serving across the country with distinction.
In 2023, his vision took a larger leap with the foundation of Exceptional Academy in Srinagar’s Parraypora—a comprehensive institute offering premier coaching for NEET, JEE, IAS, and JKAS aspirants.
His aim: to build a centre of excellence in the valley, offering students an academic ecosystem on par with the finest institutions in Delhi.
But Mr. Bhat’s impact goes far beyond the classroom.
“I have established libraries in Srinagar and Jammu, with plans to expand into other remote districts. My work in education and awareness has been recognized by both Kashmir University and Jammu University, where I was awarded for leading impactful sessions.”
